...should never be used against Americans.
We are currently witnessing a hostile takeover of our government. I know, what's new?
Over the last 7 months, we've watched Republicans walk back decades of progress at the behest of Donald Trump and the Heritage Foundation. Their actions have stained our American democracy, weakened our national security, and ruined our connections with the free world. Not to mention, their irresponsible application of our military has turned Washington into a dictator's fortress.
The power structure in the United States has to change. While the Executive's special war powers were a tactical asset during unconventional warfare skirmishes, they are now being abused. Donald Trump has pushed our servicemembers into an impossible position, where young adults are being forced to choose a side (with hugely terrifying implications under the UCMJ).
When members of Congress can't get straight answers regarding our national defense, something is gravely wrong. We can no longer blindly accept this as the status quo. Washington DC is federalized, LA is militarized, and the nation is polarized. If we allow the President and his thugs to continue using our own tax money to bully us, we will not make it to another free/fair election. It is way past time to get angry!
